Rising money for the children’s home in Magoulades

I am raising money for the children’s home in Magoulades North Corfu, they need to cover monthly costs (€1730) for various treatments for nine of their children. The treatments include speech and language therapy, therapeutic, occupational & psychotherapeutic treatments.

I will be completing a sponsored mountain bike ride on July 26th. Starting in Sidari I will travel along the Northwest coastline to Angelokastro.
Angelokastro is a Byzantine castle on the island of Corfu, Greece. It is located at the top of the highest peak of the island’s shoreline on the northwest coast near Palaiokastritsa and is built on particularly precipitous and rocky terrain. I will then travel across towards central Corfu to the chapel at Agios Symeon located high above the village of Doukades. After taking in the unique scenery, I will go across to the East coast, up through Ipsos, Pyrgi and the long journey up the highest mountain of Corfu – Mount Pantokrator.

Mount Pantokrator is located in north-eastern Corfu. It is the highest mountain on the island, standing at 906 metres. From the summit, you can see the entire island of Corfu, as well as Albania. Leaving Mount Pantokrator travelling down the other side, passing through Perithia and turning left across the North coastline, I will be able to stop and take in the view across to Agios Spiridon beach before heading back towards Acharavi, through Roda and back to Sidari.

Conclusion

So far, during our 2022 fundraiser, we have raised and sent just over 2000 euros to the home; we would like to help more so that the children have the best possible experience growing up and are prepared for what the future holds. Please help me, help the children of the North Corfu Children’s Home in Magoulades (child’s smile) by sponsoring me on my Go Fund Me page.
